What I do know is that no matter what level of the company you were in whether it was a cahsier, yard person, or vp of whatever Ron made you feel important every time he held a conversation with you.

I also learned that he would take trips to africa to help build houses and schools. That speaks very highly of where his priorities lie in the present state of the world right now.

With all of that said, I pray for you every day and am setting in motion that the Napa Store become a donation station for you.

NicoleAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7332434213414930342.post-3694195717125204052006-12-19T16:29:00.000-08:002006-12-19T16:29:00.000-08:00When I first met Ron and Tammy, we were preparing ...When I first met Ron and Tammy, we were preparing to go to Pachuca, Mexico, to help build a large school. Ron's incredible mentoring in that building project, led by John Taylor, was so inspiring! ON the last day, at the last possible moment, the last block was laid, and our part of this large project was completed. Without Ron, we would have been "lost."

Ron patiently showed the kids (and adults!) how to mud a block, properly lay it, etc. At a couple of points the project stopped. More re-bar was needed, not because the plans called for it, but because Ron refused to build this school in what he considered a dangerous type of construction. He added re-bar to meet the strictest California specs, knowing that it was not required, but that he could sleep well at night even if the city were rocked by an earthquake; none of the kids in HIS school would be harmed!

Ron has continued to amaze us on other mission trips, and gained a great name for himself among the Maranatha builders. Many groups never complete what they set out to do; Ron's teams invariably do, often with just minutes to spare.

Ron and Tammy -- we all love you so much. Thank you for letting us help out here.

Hugs and Love,
JennyJennyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16350962022958406555noreply@blogger.com
